Originally
started in 1997 by Dr. Steve Whitelaw, Millennium Chiropractic welcomed
Dr. Eric Walker in 2001 to form a partnership that has serviced the Northwest
Arkansas community and the Arkansas Razorbacks Athletic Department in
addition to many clients nationwide. Whitelaw and Walker see patients with a variety of ailments on a daily basis in addition to their work in the community and their continuing education efforts. With on-campus appointments and event-day treatment for the Arkansas Razorbacks, their work is both preventative and corrective. During the season, Drs. Walker or Whitelaw attend every competition Arkansas competes at, including football, basketball, baseball and track and field. Whitelaw is listed as one of America’s Top Chiropractors by the Consumer’s Research Council of America (2004). He has also spent time as a professor of human gross anatomy and the lab director for dissection at Parker College of Chiropractic (Dallas, Texas). Whitelaw is also the treating chiropractor for the Rodeo of the Ozarks and for the Professional Bull Riders Association. As a fellow of the American Back Society, he is also an independent medical examiner for Allstate Insurance. Whitelaw received his bachelor of science in human anatomy from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1995. Later that year he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic (Dallas, Texas). Walker received his bachelor of science in biology from Southern Arkansas University in 2002 and went on to receive a bachelor of science in Anatomical Sciences from Parker College of Chiropractic in 2001. He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2002 from Parker College of Chiropractic. Whitelaw has also studied at the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services and both have attended the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. As part of their continuing education work, Walker and Whitelaw are certified in whiplash and brain injury traumatology while Whitelaw is board certified as a medical investigator by the American College of Forensic Examiners. Walker has also studied at the Center for Research into Automotive Safety and Health has taken courses in digital motion x-ray technology. Whitelaw is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, Council on Sports Injuries, the American Academy of Spine Physicians, the Arkansas Chiropractic Association, the American College of Forensic Examiners, the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Back Society, the American Academy of Pain Management and the International Traffic Medicine Association. Walker is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Arkansas Chiropractic Association, the American College of Forensic Examiners, the Society of Automotive Engineers and the International Traffic Medicine Association. |
